Building on our 30-year heritage of wind turbine development, the Northern Power 2.3 MW

(NPS 2.3) wind turbine is an evolutionary design based on the Northern Power 100 (NPS 100)
and more than 50 years of cumulative field operating experience. Incorporating state-of-the-art permanent magnet generator and power electronics technology from our independently tested 1.5 MW drive train, the NPS 2.3 uses advanced technology to set a new standard for wind turbine performance. The Northern Power 2.3 delivers more power, more of the time, for a better bottom line.
