Northwind 100 Installed on Long Island

Easter Energy Systems (EES) installed completed the installation of the largest wind turbine in the history of Long Island. To generate interest as well as electricity, EES launched an essay content for high schoolers on Long Island entitled, "Why I want to work in the renewable energy industry." The Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center at Stony Brook University, Molloy College and SUNY Farmingdale will award scholarships to winners of the contest.
