CBS / WBZ Boston: Medford Harnesses the Winds of Change

Weather reporter, Mish Michaels of WBZ-Boston was out catching the wind and the story this past month when she visited the Medford Northwind 100 turbine at McGlynn Elementary School. She was able to visit with the teachers and students who are incorporating the experiential lessons from the turbine into their classroom lessons as well as learn about the benefits of community wind from Northern Power's CEO, John Danner. WBZ also posted a survey asking readers to vote on whether or not they would like to see a wind turbine in their community – out of 600 respondents, 90% voted yes!
