Hyannis Country Gardens wind turbine dedication featured in local news

It was a perfect day to celebrate Cape Cod's first wind turbine installation – sunny and windy! The blades were doing their job by spinning against the bright blue sky and working to offset 92% of Hyannis Country Garden's energy costs. Diana Duffley, owner of the greenhouse and nursery, couldn't have been more proud as four generations of her family and over 100 supporters were on hand to cut the ceremonial ribbons that draped the Northwind 100 turbine which symbolized so many things: cost savings, environmental responsibility, energy independence and the pride of a community.
